About Seamus
Seamus McAteer has been an active entrepreneur and analyst covering the wireless industry since the early ’90s. At ITG, he is building a next-generation market research business on the foundation of its investment research platform – providing the most granular, timely, and accurate metrics in telecom, medical devices, and other industry verticals. He was founder and Chief Product Architect at M:Metrics, a company that defined the data currency for mobile content and applications. M:Metrics was acquired by comScore in 2008. He formerly headed up technology coverage at Jupiter Communications, now Forrester Research, and was a senior analyst covering handheld computing and wireless data at SRI International. Seamus is an active angel investor and advisor to a number of startups and was an independent board member at Motally, which was sold to Nokia and Zokem, which was acquired by Arbitron.
